This class on flower and garden photography centered on Longwood Gardens gave me several new perspectives on how to take photographs.  Irene has a wealth of knowledge and experience, which helped me improve composition and see images in a new way.  I came away from the class with a completely new appreciation for taking photos of flowers and garden scenes.  Irene has a very helpful teaching style.

This was my 3rd photo workshop with you and, as in the first two experiences, I was not disappointed. You are an excellent workshop leader and I always come away from your workshops knowing more about the technical and creative skills of photography and I’m always happy with the photo opportunities you presented and the results I have achieved. The photo tour to Argentina and Chile with Irene was well planned with the right amount of time spent at the various locations that provided a good mix of wildlife and scenic photo opportunities.  That combined with the small group of photographers made for a most enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Thank you for the excellent presentation last night. Your images were outstanding, and we all learned a lot about both the subjects and the best way to approach them to get the best shots.

I got a lot of nice feedback about your presentation on wildlife photograaphy from Central Maryland Photographers Guild members.  We got a lot of good tips, saw photos that amaze (“how’d she get that?”), and, most of all, we got inspiration to go out and shoot.
