Cancellation Policy

Notifications of cancellation must be in writing.

The following charges apply per person at the time we receive your written notification of cancellation:

  • Cancel up to 121 days prior to departure date – full refund.
  • 120 to 61 days prior to departure, $125 administrative fee charged. ($35 admin fee for weekend workshops.)
  • 60 to 46 days prior to departure, 50% of workshop or tour cost.
  • 45 days or less prior to departure – NO REFUND

Because of deposits forwarded & liabilities incurred by OSPREY with regard to suppliers, no partial refunds will be given for unused rooms, meals, transportation, etc. Medical circumstances or emergencies do not constitute grounds for exception to the cancellation policy. Therefore, trip cancellation & interruption insurance is HIGHLY recommended. Travelers Insurance Company provides such policies at a reasonable rate. In the unlikely event that the trip is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, your money will be refunded in full, with the exception of expenses you personally incurred while preparing for the trip.

You will be charged the single supplement fee if you request a single room or if you desire double accommodations and we are unable to arrange for someone to share it with you.

Most activities on this tour are within the capability of travelers with relatively good health. However, some hiking is required while carrying photo equipment. At times, trails can be rocky, uneven & poorly marked, and shooting locations can be near the edge of high cliffs. If concerned about your fitness, please contact this office for more details. When you register, you are certifying that you have no knowledge of any physical illnesses or conditions that would create a risk for yourself or other participants on the trip. We assume no responsibility for medical care nor for special dietary requirements; however, if forewarned, we will attempt to have your needs met.

Smoking is not permitted in any vehicles, during meals, & at other times when secondhand smoke can affect the health & comfort of others.

To participate in the tour, you are required to sign a liability release along with a health form for your protection. You can review these forms prior to registration. The liability release must be signed prior to departure. If you fail to do so, you will be excluded from the tour & will receive no refund.

Osprey Tours reserves the right to change any route or arrangement, to offer substitutes of equal value, or to cancel the operation of any scheduled excursion if conditions should necessitate. Refunds are not available for those services participants voluntarily choose not to accept.
