Newfoundland – The Wild Side
Newfoundland
Newfoundland has to be one of my favorite places to visit- some of my favorite animals, great vistas, and charming harbors and not crowed with visitors. I just returned from Newfoundland at the end of July. This was my 4th trip to the island and my 2nd with a tour group. This part of Canada has to be one of my favorite.
This upcoming July I am repeating the tours but slightly later in the summer than before to have more opportunities to photograph whales. The tours are already partially full. (If interested, please contact ASAP me for details and prices.)
On my last trip I covered 3 popular regions of Newfoundland – St. Johns/Avalon Peninsula, St. Brides (St. Mary’s Ecological Reserve), and Bonavista Peninsula including the historic town of Trinity and Bonavista. In years past I did venture farther north and a few images from those trips are included.
In this blog I am concentrating on Newfoundland wildlife.
